Research question and scope

This study asks how delivery evidence states are associated with time to a durable resolution and repeat contact. It proposes a method for an approved CustomerCareStaff client dataset. It does not report a universal rate or claim that any evidence type causes an outcome.
The unit is one delivery dispute joined across order, carrier, support, remedy, and follow-up events. Define the brands, carriers, countries, channels, service hours, and observation window before extraction. A carrier scan, photograph, GPS observation, customer statement, and merchant investigation should remain separate evidence fields.
Measures and data quality
Primary outcomes can include elapsed time to authorized remedy, contact count within 14 days, reopened status, and remedy reversal. Publish counts with every percentage. Report missing images, unlinked carrier events, duplicate cases, and unresolved journeys.
Validate a sample against source records. Check time zones, delayed carrier feeds, shared delivery locations, and cases opened before the delivery event arrived. The NIST Cybersecurity Framework supports a structured approach to data handling controls, while actual access rules come from client policy.
Analysis and limitations
Start with a journey flow and distributions by evidence state. Stratify by carrier, delivery setting, item value band, and remedy policy. Compare like cases before considering a model. If analysts review images or notes, use a written rubric and report agreement.
Important confounders include case complexity, neighborhood type, carrier practices, customer availability, fraud controls, and agent authority. Missing carrier data may be systematic. Customers who never contact support are absent. Results can describe the studied operation but cannot prove causality or transfer safely to another program.
Use the result for a bounded workflow test, such as improving evidence intake for one carrier. Monitor resolution quality, repeat contacts, privacy exceptions, and workload shifted to investigation teams.
